JHM "solid" linkage upgrades NOW AVAILABLE for B6/B7 S4 and RS4

If you desire the ultimate in shifting, the JH Motorsports B6/B7 S4 and RS4 Solid Linkage Upgrade is the perfect solution. This linkage upgrade replaces the OEM rubber/plastic socket assembly with a steel spherical bearing (similar to what the JHM Solid Shifter does for the OEM shifter box). This will give you a full mechanical race car feel, and eliminates sloppiness allowing you to optimize shifts on the street or at the track. The linkage is most purposeful when used with the JHM Solid Shifter and the JHM Delrin Shifter Stabilizer Bushing, however these parts will compliment any SS kit, including stock shifters.

JHM "Solid" Linkage upgrade for B6/B7 S4 and RS4

Video of what the linkage upgrade does here (this video does not do it justice since you can't explain it unless you feel it) --> http://audishifter.com/videos/JHM_B5...parisonWeb.wmv This video was shot on a B5 S4 but the linkage for your car works exactly the same.

JHM Delring Shifter stablizer bushing for B6/B7 S4 and RS4 (great compliment to the linkage upgrade and solid shifter)

Video of what the stabilizer bushing does here --> http://audishifter.com/videos/JHM_st...parisonWeb.wmv This video was shot on a B5 A4 but the bushing for your car works exactly the same.

If you are confused to where these are located and want to know where they go, check out this video --> http://audishifter.com/videos/Extern...peed_trans.wmv (I shot this a while ago on a B5 S4 linkage which is 99% the same as the B6/B7 S4 and RS4 linkage and before I had these upgrades available.) So the concept is the same.

NOTE: This is easiest installed when doing a clutch job or when doing downpipes. The downpipes get in the way and make it tricky to do otherwise, however it can be done by an experienced DIYer.

Check both of them out here in our store for more details (in stock and ready to ship) --> http://www.jhmotorsports.com/shop/ca...1_56_61_105_70

If you are not familiar with our "solid" shifters check them out here --> http://www.jhmotorsports.com/shop/ca...&products_id=4

And of course a pic for good measure.

Man, I just drove my buddies B5 S4 with your full setup. Shifter, linkage and bushing. Man it feels like a race car. So smooth and crisp. Does this whole setup feel the same on the B6/B7 S4?? I already have your shifter and shift knob and those are awesome.

Actually for your car it should feel the same but smoother. Since your B6/B7 will have the new weighted design linkage that is smoother than the B5. Their linkages are about 98% the same.

Thanks man. I plan on making many more products for the B6 S4s in the coming years.

I would say anywhere from 2 to 4 hours depending how skinny and skilled the guy is (weather or not the downpipes need to come out). My brother in law works for me and weighs all of 135 lbs so he can do them without taking the DPs out with his scrawny arms. I have to take the DPs out. So guess who gets to do them here? HAHA.

Seriously most people with the B5s (98% the same for this part) do this stuff when they upgrade the clutch, rebuild the trans or do their downpipes. The downpipes are the key for most people in getting out of the way to make it WAYYY easier to get the rod out.
