sunroof help

so i had to put a sunroof in my s4 (was none there when i bought the car) the guy i had do it said the motor was bad, and i had to get a new one, so the sunroof was stuck. when i got it home i decided to look at it myself, and turns out, the gears werent matched up correctly so it was just spinning, so i got the sunroof to work. BUT, seems like along the backside of it, its not perfectly lined up, and im 103% positive it would leak. is there a gasket or seal of some sort im supposed to buy for this? once again, help is appreciated

What??? You had a deleted sunroof and you installed one??? there are people on here that would trade there modded S4 for that........

I think he bought the car with a broken sunroof and tried to fix it. I mean I hope that is the case. I wish I didnt have a sunroof. If I keep the car might just get a c/f roof skin with no sunroof.

haha no the glass was broken, so i bought a whole new setup. but for some reason its not sealing correctly

still need help with this, anyone know if there is a seal to go around the sunroof, or if it just wouldnt leak because of drains or whatever? i dont want to test if it leaks by letting it rain on it, because im almost positive it will

sunroofs are nice.. except on the B5.. since new motors cost four digits+, not including that the drain lines sometimes get cloged, the tracks break or the control switch needs to be cleaned/replaced periodiacly, and it adds weight. Most B5 A4's and S4's came with the sunroof option, so they're kind of rare too.

is it not lining up flush with the roof, or is it not far back enough to seal? pictures would help.
