Ok my car been having some problems while switching gears when redlining. Earlier today i was in first at around 3k went WOT till 6.5k and switched to second. Once I hit second the car sounded like it was reving out for a few seconds and the rpms fluttered a bit then held for a few seconds, it felt like the car didnt catch into gear. My clutch is orginal with 134k on it but the owner before be was older and didnt drive it hard plus the car was bone stock. Is this because my clutch is going or could it be something else? While driving normal there is no problem catches fine its only at WOT switching at high rpm's (5.5k-7k).

Ha! Stock clutch...Hell ya your slipping, probably smell something too....burning. I went to APR 91OCT after replacing the stock clutch(dumb ass decision...I didnt know about forums then). As soon as we test drove it the clutch couldnt hold(and this was a new clutch). Now, with RS4 clutch, it feels like a completely different car. If you have any more issues just ask.

maybe thats why my quarter mile time is kinda shitty for my mods. The funny part is I ran 13.4 with just a chip and Im still running the same time with everything in my sig.

Time for a new clutch. I am going to be doing one w/in the next month as i have 94k on my orginal clutch. Mine is still grabbing at high rpm shifts however it is not catching when i launch. FYI Vast,Clutchmasters and southbend would all be great choices for your next clutch.
