Battery changed, now random malfunctions?

Battery died and I got it changed. Everything is great besides the fact that my headlights are always on (no matter where you turn the headlight knob, besides the parking light position, they stay on, even in the OFF position).

Also, my fog lights won't turn on anymore when I unlock my car at night. My knob is turned to the I setting so they should go on but they don't.

Any ideas? Is it just a quick VAG fix or something more?

Also quick question, my car was chipped before the battery change. I was wondering if the change effected that at all. Thanks guys.

How long has it been since you change out the battery? Its normal for varuios electrical components like one touch windows, etc., to "not work" properly after the battery change but not more then for 24 hours.

It was changed roughly 24 hours ago.

It should have been back to normal since then. The only thing i can recommend is pulling the fuses for short period of time for each component affected...

Also, brights don't work in any other knob position besides ON. It seems everything is headlight related. Any ideas? Any input would be much appreciated

WOW. i wrote the same symptoms in someones thread.

-my headlights are ALWAYS on, no matter what position.
-fogs wont go on when i lock the doors at night.

i accidentally left my keys in the ignition all night, battery was dead for about 24 hours or more.

yea. my one touch windows and key fob didnt work, but i knew how to take care of that. but the headlights have me stumped.
