I saw one almost a month ago at Audi of Oakville. Definately needs some skirts and a rear valance. It really seemed too plain for the price. I am waiting for the manual with sport package.

I have only seen three so far. All at Queensway.

1. Ice Silver with only B+O
2. Meteor Grey with sports package (10 spoke rim), B+O, +? Delivery cover was still partially on it.

3. Lastly, mine. Meteor Grey, B+O, Drive Select and tech package. 6 spoke. No Nav.

I picked it up on October 31. Having come from an 04 Avant 3.0, it has been a great experience comparing the two cars.

Getting it from Audi Uptown in Markham.

I just got an update saying the car should arrive in port this Monday. Still needs to process through Customs, so likely won't be at the dealer for another week or two after that.

I just got an update saying the car should arrive in port this Monday. Still needs to process through Customs, so likely won't be at the dealer for another week or two after that.

BTW how is the Tip? Every car I've owned is manual and as we all know that isn't even an option for those of us needing an Avant this time around.

Same here. Never owned an auto tranny before, so was skeptical at first. Surprisingly responsive and quick footed, though. We'll see if I grow more fond of it as the KM's pile on.

We actually placed our order back in mid-August with a deposit to confirm it, so not likely the same car that was offered. When is yours due to arrive? I was calling the sales guy it seemed like every 2nd week for an update!

I asked for a delivery date of mid-February 09 since my lease was up around that time. I also had to place a deposit for a "built order" back in early Oct. I figured it would take 3-4 months or so from order date to delivery date.

I'm getting the itch to call my sales guys as well...

Congrats on your new car and being one of the 1st to enjoy an Ibis white sedan or avant with the sport package in the GTA.

Just two options:

1. Sport pkg
2. B&O sound

MSRP was $49,900 before taxes and fees, but we got ours on the Supplier Purchase Program through my employer, which knocked off essentially $3000 from that price.

Nice to see a few ppl from Markham/Richmond Hill. 6% off MSRP is pretty good. I am assuming you get the Audi care for free too, right? Anyway, love to see more Avants out there. Will you tint the windows after you get the vehicle?

Like mr_teabag I also qualified for the Supplier Program which automatically knocks 6% off the MSRP. In my case the Avant was only ordered with the sport package. I was able to negotiate a further 2% in addition to the 6% for a total of 8% off the $48,800 MSRP... a little over $3,900 off.

Actually you technically did better than either of us. You see, with the supplier program the factory reimburses the dealership 3% of the 6% discount.

I was able to negotiate 8% of which the dealer was reimbursed 3% which means I technically got the dealership to give me a 5% discount while you had 5.5%.

5.5%>5%... So I say, you da man

Your company would need to be a vendor of record with Volkswagen/Audi. If you qualify for the supplier program, someone at your company would have been assigned as the account administrator.

This administrator would have a companyid and password assigned to them from VW/Audi that allows them to manage the active list of employees via this portal

Employees would then be allowed to logon to the portal to print out an employee specific certificate (it actually has your name on it). The certificate would then be presented to a participating dealership along with you most current paystub and voila... 6% discount!
