ProDiag on Palm, Vag-com Q's

I have ProDiag on my Palm, I can scan for check-engine light, and clear it, but rather than that, I don't know what I can do...
I've played with it a little last night, I could check systems, and I know I can monitor the engine, but how do you change stuff with it?

If my memory is correct, you could do basic functions on Pro-diag but, you were not able to recode modules with it.

Pro-diag is meant to be a portable code scanner and measuring block reader.

If you want to recode any of the control modules or do real logging, you need VAG-COM.

but there are options for coding and logging in and stuff...when I click it, I have no idea what to do next...have to put in some values, but no idea what to do and what can be done...

search is your friend for that man. Ross tech has DIY, every forum has them too. I think the B6 A4 forum has a write up on using the ebay cable that is pretty hard to mess up.

you can record with it like tip recode, auto door lock, window up/down by remote ....
Just find the righT code or # add ons on the Internet and plug them in the right module. In each module, once you are in there is a code section/ box, click on that and change code
