    Re: fmic?

Yup, thats why they dont come with one from the factory! lol

Ok now for a real answer, no, it will not make it slower. It will help regain power you already have by keeping IAT's lower and preventing heatsoak

    Re: fmic?

yes it will make it slow, more drag!

seriously though, its made the biggest difference in power besides a chip for me.

    Re: fmic?

Even on a K03 you will see a slight gain because the IAT's will be a bit lower. I saw a 5 degs of timing gain when I put a FMIC kit on my B5 back in 2001.

I would recommend a Racetec or a ER Sport. The ER sport can be ordered anodized black if your looking for a stealth look. Both of those are designed for the stock K03 or K04 setup.

Yea, between this and the other thread I think you need to read the stickies.

12/23/09 - My car has been phenomenal to me. Runs strong. Don't think I'm ever going to sell it. Rather throw $7k into it for a refresh than buy a new A4 that has no dipstick.

    9/22/13 - 146k+ & running strong w/a new TB, water pump, etc.
