99.5 KO4 software? **PICSS*

Ok so Adam from wolfcars was at a local meet here in miami and i took him around in the new to me 99.5 a4 i just bought. Previous owner had his k03 rebuilt to ko4 spec. The car has a speedtuning chip? It only hits 15 psi in 1st and 2nd gear momentarily and feels super strong compared to my old full bolt on k03s a4. 3rd and on it will boost 7-9 psi which i guess is stock. Adam told me software was the problem. So what company do i turn to for a software/chip for my car. Revo has nothing. Ive looked around but damn i cant find an answer for my year. Are injectors necessary? any info would be great guys thanks. here are some pics of the car. Just changed out the ugly ass 4 spoke wheel to the 3 spoke sport wheel.

With a 99.5 i believe you can go with the GIAC PC 16 file.

Heres a couple pics of my previous cars.

Turbos blew on the s4 and i had already sold my a4..i was stuck..sold the s4.. and got into a couple others cars..now im back. Maybe not better than ever but im working on it.

PC16 will require fmic, injectors, 3bar FPR, and exhaust.

The standard GIAC "k05" file will work with no other bolt ons.

sounds good. What should i expect power wise with the k05 file from giac? after i do FMIC, exhaust.?

pc-16 file is rated for about 250hp and about 300ft lbs of torque. The power doesn't drop off as bad as people say.

the standard giac "k05" file is about 235hp and 265 ft lbs of torque.

sounds good. Im FWD too so i should see a bit more power to the wheels...or traction issues.

i just looked through giacs website and i saw they have the 96-99 ko4 file and a 2000-2001 file. Which one is the one for my car..since i have a 99.5.

Since you still have a throttle cable 1.8T (AEB motor) then you want the 96-99, referred to as the PC-16 file.

99.5 isn't a true model change, just a facelift. Think of it like the B5.5 Passat in 2001.5, all that was changed was the front and rear facias. Not anything major like the B5 to B6 A4 change over.
