I tore my mesh pocket!!

I have a B6 S4 and today I put my briefcase in the back seat and some A-hole in front of me jammed his brakes hard on the freeway and made me do the same. My briefcase flex off the back seat and the zipper caught on the mesh pocket on the rear of the front drivers seat and tore it! Damn!

Are these mesh pockets easy to replace? Has anyone had to do it?

So, am I the only one that has ever had to replace this mesh pocket? Do we have any Audi mechanics on the forum who know how easy/hard this job is?

Thanks for the diagram. I don't see the mesh pocket on this diagram but it is part of the backrest. I can't tell if it is a seperate part or all integrated as part of the backrest on the S4?

It's integrated. You'll have to replace the whole cover and that's an expensive part, $150-200 depending on where you get it.

Same thing happened to me, I went to the dealership to see how much it would be to replace it, they said it would be something like $300 cdn (like 250 US)because it comes with the whole back portion of the seat or something along those lines. needless to say, i didnt buy it.
