Hey guys...just bought the ebay FMIC. I am searching to find the right intercooler piping for it. Can anyone point me to the correct set of pipes on ebay? I am looking for the one used in this writeup: http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=191938

Yeah, I considered it. But I'm gonna follow Dr. Duct writeup. Looks like it fits pretty decent. I didn't feel like shelling out over twice as much to have the pipes basically "put together" for me. I'll make them work.

    Re: Ebay FMIC piping

    did you buy them yet?

i recommend 2" if you want to make it a clean install.

iirc, duct is not running a front bumper support at all. 2.5" is unnec. just think of the intake tract - the fmic piping is not the bottleneck in the system ...

I recommend AWE side mounts. But then I won't be putting a park bench wing on my vehicle, either. Both of these seem to take the car in a direction that is different than a 4 door luxury sport.

I have seen front mounts that are well hidden, as well. I think those just cost less than AWE side mounts. THAT I can relate to. You can't argue against something that does the job within budget, and isn't fugly!

You don't have to get rid of it. You simply need to trim a bit of it.
