Don't mind the ones above you. It is just that people are used to seeing the same questions being asked over and over again. It gets tiring to many after a while. But you should check out the FAQ sheet and learn to use the search function. It will save you in the future from being flamed.

Do ALL maintenance first. have it inspected, do everything the PO didnt do.

Then when you have money left over, figure what you want to do to it, what you want out of the car, and come back... There are a LOT of threads JUST like yours. just go back a couple of pages on the forums and read.

I agree. I'm doing exactly that. Any problems I find, I'm trying to fix them once I get the money gathered up. There are already a few modifcations that were done to my car before I got it, but I'd rather have something that doesn't leak oil than something that goes just a little bit faster.

Reliability should come before Speed.

Facelift headlights
Remove A4,1.8 and Quattro mark on rear.
S4 grill.
White side blinkers.
