B5 S4 Bolt pattern (looking for rims)

hey hey,

im looking at getting rims, and i want black rims! contrasts well against the pearl white.

now, i dont know anything about bolt patterns, offsets and what not!

19" x 8.5" 5/114.3 & 5/112 45 -
19" x 8.5" 5/114.3 & 5/100 45 -


will these fit? what wont fit? what will rub?

any suggestions, help, tips and what not would be greatly appreciated!

our bolt pattern is 5x112 not sure on other fitment issues with offsets

personally i would stick with 18s... its hard for us to give you an idea about offsets because every wheel is different due to spoke design. For instance i run work w-its in an 18x8.5 with a 32mm offset and this clears my stock hp2 calipers no problem. However 35mm will not clear because the spokes come inward. if you get a higher offset you can always run spacers to push them out a little bit and clear breaks.(dont get too extreme though)

SO if you bought a 19x8.5 wheel in a 35mm offset and your brakes dont clear, you can tinker with spacers in hopes to clear the calipers. what you need to do is figure out the exact wheel you want and then people can give you a better idea of what offset to run.

yea i hear ya. make sure you get your fenders rolled or cut if you plan on running 19s and your car is lowered. but thats a given

If you need them get H&R HUBCENTRIC ones. Thier are alot of varubles. Best thing to do is contact the manufacture or seller.. I'll just be very candid here - everyone will have their opinions when it comes to wheels, but having just done this literally this month - do yourself a favor and make it easy, go with either a site that will guarantee fitment or a local shop that is willing to test fit. My personal opinion is that TireRack has a good selection of wheels and they will guarantee fitment on your car for any wheel you buy through their "advisors" - Discount Tire and DiscountTire Direct do the same thing... for around 1200$ enkei RPF1s are a great buy, wicked light, 18x8, and retail right now at <300$/wheel...

If you want black wheels, OZ makes black 19x8 Ultra Leggera's for our car that look sweet as hell, but you have to be commited to the black wheel thing because it's hard to pull off IMHO - also if you are a bit more baller, BBS now has a black CH with a polished lip that looks sweet...

And one wheel that doesn't get mentioned much but seems to be excellent is a tire rack exclusive, TRmotorsports MT1, 18x8.5 and it's a gunmetal, not black but dark dark grey.

Oh and someone above said if you got 19s you'd have to roll your fenders or get them cut, that's a load of sh!t - what will make you need to do that is if your fitment is not correct, or your tires are too wide - has nothing to do with the diameter of the wheels.

oh sorry for quick post, but in general, you need to look for wheels that are 5 on 112 (5x112) and in general offsets between +35 and +42 - you can go with a lower offset but you will likely need to roll fenders if you do, and if you go with a higher offset it may not clear the brakes, BUT so far everyone has said this and I'll echo it - it will depend largely on the wheel...

depends on the wheel ;) but that sounds like the offset might be too high for that width - the only way to know is to ask the manufacturer or seller... the TR motorsports MT1 is 18x8.5 +35 and it does fit.

u can use those wheels 5x114.3, even though we are 112, u can def fit 114.3 i for one use 114.3 and have opened up a new world of wheels.

do you have any issues with clearance? especially rubbage on turns?

i never had this problem with my previous rims, but they were all 18's!

Nope, not yet, already have my K04s and RS4 inlets along with the hardware needed sitting right next to me though. I'm gathering all my parts to have ready to just do everything at once

Very likely that they won't clear since the B5 S4 is not listed as an applicable fitment.

Our Hartmann HRS4-DTM-GS is a very similar spoke design and will fit no problem if you're interested. The Hartmann DTM wheels are a timeless classic on the B5 S4.
