kind of fraustrated

i have this huge ugly license plate mount on my front bumper, to take it off would leave three HUGE holes in my bumper from there the screws go through to mount it. I'm undecided whether to take this huge ugly thing off, clean up the front end a little bit, and reveal huge holes. or leave it on and ignore it until i get a new one (could be a while) any idea's, alternatives, Etc.?

I removed my front plate and machined some aluminum plugs/caps. It looks way better than having an ugly plate attached. $.02

Take it off and get your self a Euro plate, make sure its from Ingostadt (IN), and double sided tape it on the front.....sexy time

im sporting the holes. and what makes it worse is the top hole is off center but i still think its better looking then a big ass license plate on the front of the car

black bumper, the holes are about 3/8".

not to sound rude or anything, but i'll pass on the euro plate. its just not my thing.

maybe find some black plastic caps?

yeah just go with some caps being a black car you wont notice the caps really

I guess i just got super lucky because my front bumper doesn't have those holes. Apparently there has never been a license plate bracket on there, which is cool considering the car spent most of its life in california where you need to have a front plate.

I know what you mean about the holes. My front bumper has 3 of those big ones from the mount i pulled off and 2 more small ones that hold the plate. Fortunately, my required front plate covers all of it

My solution:
Get some Crayola Model Magic (its this foamy clay) that is available anywhere. You just roll 3 balls and shove them into the spot, wait a couple hours for them to dry, then take a touch up pen and paint it. Worked fine for me!
(shows a little white because I painted them before they hardened, but you get the idea.

That's a neat idea. I think I'm gonna give that a whirl. Worst case scenario I use the euro plate I already have to cover it up.

I just filled the holes and painted them. it doesnt get much easier than that!

I just zip tied my front plate to the lower grille on my S4 bumper, not taking my filler plate off. Dunno what ill do when I get a fmic though =/.

I had the same problem on my B5. I just kept the plate on to avoid tickets, but I live in CA. Looks better than holes IMHO.
