Dont know the price yet, but Wolfcars Motorsport should be here selling them soon.

I have driven in a car with this set of hoses, and you can tell that they don't expand.

Aluminum gets way hotter, and does not like to move with the motor.

Part of it should work with most FMIC.

yeah aluminum can still get heat soaked no matter how much cooling u have, the silicone retains its shape, yet allows for some flexibility to move with the motor as HID said.... i cant wait to put them on my car!!

they replace the rubber hoses that go from the intercoolers and to the throttle body. silicone is a much more resilient material than rubber, and wont break down like rubber will

Ok I got that much. Thank you for your interest. What confused me is the water methanol things about it, which lets some think that it is only suitable for such an application...

i would buy the hoese and water meth... for the price of an intercooler you would be better off with this, the meth system is mroe efficient then a fmic, and doesnt increase boost lag like putting the fmic on would. and either way if u do do a fmic you would still have rubber hoses that collapse andexpand under pressureand vaccum, so therefore you would still not be getting all the possible power from the turbo

my vote is for the silicone and meth

when the turbo spools, it compresses air into the engine. with a fmic, there is more tubing for it to pass through there for it takes longer for the air to reach the engine. so not only do you get conventional lag waiting for the turbo to start spooling, you also have to wait for the air to actualy get to the engine. someone correct me if im wrong. anyways, the advantages of the fmic outweigh the small disadvantage if im correct.

the fmic advantages do out weigh the disadvantages, but... when u retain stock sidemounts and run water/meth, its the best

you are correct, from asking around, the lag is very minimal...for some a fmic is worth it depending on location, etc, others would want to run alternative methods. Water meth in combination with anything is great....I cant wait to get some meth in me =D

Re: Some silicone for your toys ( Full hose kit for the A4 )

The lag created from a fmic, if any (this would be because of a large single unit pushing the air from it's endtanks but if the fmic is sized appropriately for the turbo application and car it won't cause lag) would be 100-150 rpm's at most and not even noticeable. You're still going to be hitting the majority of your boost on these baby turbo's by 2500rpm.

Great looking product Wolf !! It's about time someone released this kit for the B7's !! I know there's been more than a few people asking for it and nobody has stepped up as of yet.
