    MTEC Bulbs

I just ordered the projectors headlights from Parts4Euro and didnt want to use my stock halogen bulbs. I have a Bday coming up for which i will (hopefully) get the MTEC HID kit, but for now was gonna do standard halogen bulbs.
I looked at several options (HOEN Xenon match, PIAA’s Xtreme White Plus, Polarg miracle whites) for now i am leaning more toward the MTEC Cosmos bulbs. My friend has them on his mazda3 and they look perfect, its completely white with a very minimal blue tint (just right). Though i havent seen any of the others in person (other then PIAA which i had on my previous car and liked, but think others are better).
Has anyone have experience with the MTEC Cosmos bulbs in the B7? can anyone compare to other bulbs (ive seen plenty of pics, but they never do any justice)

here is what i am probably gonna order:

    Re: MTEC Bulbs

any bulbs that say something like "55W that look like 100W!!" as on the upper left corner of that packaging are completely misrepresenting the product. what they've done is take the filament - the actual light-producing part - and moved it from the industry-standard location. every reflector made for a specific style of bulb expects the filament to be in an exact location to get the light output where it needs to be. those MTEC bulbs may look brighter directly in front of you (ie. +5 ft left to +5 ft right), but they'll be much dimmer further out than stock bulb. plus, they probably have a blue coating on them, further filtering the light output and dimming it.
