    curious why you went with 10w30? i personally run 5w40, and seen people run 0w40. dont think ive seen em run 10w30

    I usually run 5w40, but they were out, and with the miles on this motor I decided to run something a little stouter. And it won't be 3k before I swap motors, so no biggie.

    lol i hear that. also someone else may want to chime in, but im not 100% positive an s4 motor will drop into an a6. i think the wiring and harness are different, and you will no longer be able to use an a6 ecu either. think you will have to run an s4 ecu and change your harnesses. i could be wrong, but this is what i was told.

    The only issue would be the MAF depending upon whether you have a 2000 or a 2001. Other than that, all the other engine sensors should be 100% identical.

    My car has a bosch maf. The donor car has a hitachi maf. So I'll be doing a conversion for that.
