    good luck trying to find a video of a 2.7T with a BOV , no one likes them or uses them on the S4 or A6....i have heard bad stories about BOV's and 2.7's

    yeah but turbosmart has specifically designed a pair of these kompacts for the 2.7T engine!

    hmm well that might work, ask around on the B5 S4 forums see what they think, im sure someone has used them!

    BOV's and MAF-based tuning don't mix well.

    *edit* ah, it's a dual "bov & recirc" valve.
    I have no experience with using one that's a hybrid like that.

    i have the forge splitter which is basically the same but i trust forge product over turbosmart just my $.02

    I've never used their BOV's, but I've had an eBoost for a number of years, and love it.

    Well the idea is that the hybrid valves have an adjustment knob to adjust the ratio of air that gets "blown-off" versus the amount that gets recirculated.

    The result is a BOV sound but, less "black bumper" effect from running pig rich between shifts.

    Not my cup of tea.
