Thanks for the feedback! HPA was the only one I could find in my searches and I was really hoping to find something south of $20k delivered to my doorstep. Maybe i'll just get some racing stripes painted on and make it look faster!! Just kidding......

How about a vacation to FL, and returning with a Turbo'd TT for 20k

HPA is 21k for the mk2 and 18.5k for the mk1. MTM is showing something in the 30K band if I am converting Euros to Greenbacks correctly.

That's the best proposition i've had since college!! I may have to take you up on the that when the economy strengthens.... although I think my wife would rather I was propositioned by a mistress than spend 20k on my car! Just for giggles, what hp and torque are you getting out of this motor?

More importantly, how much do you want? We have a MK4 R32 running a Precision PT74 making 700awhp and running 10.7 @ 134 with full interior and street tires! We are also currently working on building an equivalent MK5 R32 w/ the DSG tranny

Here's a link for you to read, this is our main tech's car

    http://1552v2-com.securec3.hostek.ne...urbo/index.cfm

You may have seen it around the forums, it now looks like this

And FYI the motor and drivetrain for the R32 and TT are all the same!

Re: '06 Quattro 3.2 - Forced Induction Research

Hey I'm back!! I don't know if it is fate or what but since the last post we have decided to move to Miami Fl. My wife took a job at Perry Ellis there.

That being said it makes taking you up on your services a lot more feasible; just a few hour ride on the Gator vs a two day trek. My Audi's inservice date is 10/2006 since it was originally part of their executive fleet, it was one of the 99 special edition TTs that they made. Therefore I would be looking to do something around October 2010, assuming that any upgrades of this nature would shred any warranty.

I have some questions to start the discussion though:
    * Supercharger vs Turbo? Better lower end? Turbo lag?
    * Intercooler requirements for either?
    * At what level of BHP should the DSG tranny be upgraded? Major expense?
    * Brake upgrades? Front, rear or both?
    * What king of lead time to set up a project like this and what time for completion?

I am looking to bump BHP to at least 400 and probably not too much over 500. I am assuming the cost differences will drive that number.

    Thanks

VAG motorsport www.vagmotorsport.ca recently installed our R32 kit in a TT 3.2L they had to modify the downpipe for the DSG tranny and make a FMIC kit, theyre in Laval Quebec, and share the same building as unitronic.

Maybe Alex can email you some pictures [email protected]

arent the 06 TT's the 3.2 FSi engine? aka not the same as the R32

darren at streetwerke makes 3.2 turbo kits for R32s and said the FSi 3.2 in TT's and A4's are different enough that the kits dont transfer over
