conditions.
oil temps 75 degrees, when i parked it, cooled down to 60 by the time it was my turn. basically sat outside for 20 minutes. It was about 6 degrees outside.
idle was +100 and +20 idle torque offset
2500 rpm
HC ppm: 431, limit:150 FAIL
CO% 1.52, limit: 0.7 FAIL
idle: 898 RPM
HC PPM: 192, limit: 150 FAIL
CO% 0.72, limit: 0.70 FAIL
Dang!
I drop the idle and torque offset to 50rpm and +5, get the car nice and hot and try again.
oil temps at 100C
2500 RPM
HC PPM: 92 limit 150 PASS
CO%: 0.30 limit 0.7 PASS
Idle: 842
HC ppm: 20 limit 150 PASS
CO%: 0.04 limit 0.7 PASS
Holy shit. What a difference it made just getting the car up to temp. Those are pretty outstanding results considering the level of modification, high flow cats with a few years on em etc.
