    You may want to check on the transferability of the CPO warranty. When I bought mine I think they said it is nottransferable.

    Also, I take it you are taking off all your mods for the next car? Are you planning on having APR wipe your chip?

    My CPO is transferable. APR is going to transfer the program to the manual car.

    I was before the cutoff apparently. My dealer told me my car would be one of the last with transferable CPO. I will find out though and double check.

    If your lookin for a 6spd you should start looking it took me a month to find a car that I liked w/a 6spd. There just aren't that many out there unfortunately. But there's nothing like it I'm not sure if I'll ever get an automatic car if I don't have to.

    word. 6spd is the way to go. if you get one, welcome to the club. i just wish i had quattro. =T but who needs it in texas!?!?!?! then again, i just moved to NJ. wow, wish i had it now. hahaha, esp since its going to be a bad winter this year...said the weather channel. Now I just gotta get my mods started. word!

    ^ Is it really going to be a bad winter this year? That's gonna suck, I've liked the mild winters we've had so far.

    If you can't find a 6spd around you, check out Riverside in Jersey, they have one of the largest, if not largest, inventory of used cars.

    How much you willing to pay for one? Just for shits and giggles....That's the exact car I have....I have 25k, all highway miles. Car is in great shape.

    OP: Very clean car! I'd love to see pics of the black roof.

    I'd say that's a pretty reasonable starting price for a private sale, and as long as you're not upside down on your loan you should be fine. FWIW last month I paid couple grand more than your listing price for an A4 05.5 very similar to yours.

    Also, I know your dealer has confirmed with you, but you want to double check with Audi Customer Care. They can pull the record with the VIN to see when the car was certified. The cutoff is IIRC Aug 2006 (I have it written down at work, I'll update this post if this is wrong).

    I agree with the earlier posts. Unless you have a 2nd car as a backup, you need to find the 6spd car you want first, those are a PITA to find even in this economy, and if it's the dealership they are less willing to negotiate because of it's rarity (I know, WTF right?). You don't want to be stuck with no car or a rental.

    dude. Just make sure your familiar with all the 1st/2nd notchy syncro grief we all have. If your cool, do it! I had 2 B6 tips and am way happier with my B7 6sp.

    personally, i wouldnt go from one b7 to another. maybe to a b8 or an s4. the manual shifter in the a4 apparently doesnt have glowing reviews and if im going to be shifting 24/7 then i want to enjoy the ride. the price does look good, though i would go straight to BT this time around.
