Will A B6 S4 exhaust fit a B6 A4?

Hey guys need some help. My brother has a 05 S4 and just ordered a new exhaust and is willing to give me his stock if it fits. I have a 04 A4. Some of you guys on here know everything so help me out. Thanks all

s4 is a v8, its going to have two headers, unlike the one downpipe 1.8t's have. If you want to hack away at it you could use the mufflers I bet

Yeah Its kinda cheesy but Im not paying for the exhaust so Im considering it. Do you think that would work?? Last thing I want to do is get it all welded on and start throwing codes lol

He is giving me the cat back from the S4 I will salvage and just use the mufflers if the would fit.

ive seen video of two people who have done this and it doesn't sound good. very hoarse, unrefined tone. i'm sure it'll let the car breathe better though.

if it is, you should put the mufflers on and see if you can get those little bypass valves working. that'd be interesting to hear.

i've had a b6 s4 exhaust in my garage for over a year now.. i dont wanna put it on then it sounds like shit.. since nobody really seems to do this i just decided not to do it yet. Althought i was thinking of just putting the mufflers and welding the butterfly vavles open to see how that would sound.

man. I have nothing but time and no money and have a jeep to drive to. So I'm gonna experiment with it. I will keep everyo e posted and post a soy d clip in a couple weeks if I'm not to ashamed LOL.

It will only work if it is a catback S4 exhaust and you want to put it on a 3.0. Otherwise, you're going to need to do some work to make it work properly.

Not worth it. Save your pennies for a set of magnaflow cans or get the borla downpipe back if your on a budget.
