Anti theft

Sorry if this has already been covered. I have a few Q's about B7 anti theft.

1. Does the b7 s4 come from the factory with engine immobilizer? How does this work?

2. If answer to #1 is no, then what would you recommend (aside from $$$ alarms and keeping your rottie in the vehicle) to keep the car from being stolen? I know the Club is pretty much bs because anybody knows you can cut the steering wheel to take it off. How about the Lawman Pedal lock? will the pedal lock fit on the b7 s4 brake pedal arm? has anyone tried this out?

It has immobilizer and it looks for a key that has been matched with the car.
Even if someone had the key cut same as yours the engine could not be started ... well maybe started but not long enough to be drivable.

this is how it works...the key is coded with the ecu and the cluster all sharing the same codding...its like a locker at school mess one of the three numbers up and it will not open... if some one cuts a key to your specs the car would start idle for 2 seconds then shut off.....

Yes sir! Our ecu upgrade is fully compatible with all current emissions testing in all 50 states. We can't say that we have officially satisfied the emissions requirements as there is alot of legal process to accomplish but to date I know of no client who has ever failed emissions due to our ecu upgrade.
