Tip Chip Question

Will a tip chip from a 2000 S4 work in a 2002 S4? I did some searching and didn't find anything. Thanks.

probably, the S4 changed in 2001.5 so mabey the transmission did too.

did you try 00032 "sport mode" for the transmission? lets you hold first gear off the line and down shift to 1st (only under 40km/h and if your for is on the gas or you pres the gas pedal immediately after down shifting)
actually makes it shift more smoothly than stock coding.

Yes I did do the 00032 coding. It's much better than stock but I was just curios if the chip would work.

you need a VAG com. you can go to the transmission section, and change the software to 00032. make sure you write down what it says in the box for your software setting first in case of trouble you can always go back.
