I know that a mod can't void a warranty unless the dealer can prove that the mod was the cause of a problem, but do dealers have a tendency to take note of what mods that you have on when working on a problem that has nothing to do with them? For instance, if the dealer notices that you have a K&N filter instead of an air box and you later come back to take care of a problem that was indeed by some chance caused by the K&N but put the air box back so that they would fix the problem, could they bring up the fact that you did have the K&N and refuse to fix the part?
