Ipod connector???

Hey just got and 03 A4 3.0. I want to keep the radio OEM but what is a good connector that will charge my ipod and allow me to select songs on the OEM radio. Also are there any ones that allow you to use and ipod and your 6disc at the same time? Thanks

I have a NEO iPod connector, its more money then the dice,and does the same thing, and it makes a funny clicking sound sometimes

Sounds exactly like my DICE. Despite the clicking, it's pretty good and worth the money. I'll take the clicking over the static from an FM modulator.

I have the Symphony II in-dash changer and can still use it with this DICE model. I also use the DICE's aux input for an XM receiver that I have mounted with a Panavise mount.

I keep the DICE in "ipod" mode and control the ipod through its own controls. I don't use the "dice" mode that lets you control the ipod via the radio controls.

Thats what i heard too, but i didnt install it my self, and ive been thinking about just getting a new head unit, subs, and yarding out the NEO

when I bought my b6 there was an Ipod adapter already mounted through the glovebox to the... back?? ahha. The only problem though is it skips and shiiite... how do you get back to where ever it is plugged into?? I think the DIY someone is writing should teach me.. gracias

you have to pull the radio out and get to the wires, its easy if you have the radio keys

radio keys:

i realized that the notches on the keys need to face 'in' towards the radio.

when each one is pushed all the way in, they will click to engage.


and trust me, they are locked in there till the damn radio comes out. i needed two screwdrivers to hold the tabs down while pulling the keys back out.

by pulling towards your windows on the keys, then out towards you, it should come out with some wiggling. use the tape player if you have to. thing weighs a ton so it might take some force to budge it...

i bought the audi oem ipod connector and installed it myself .. it was really easy to instal and works great ... the only problem with it is that i cant use my ipod to find a song without unplugging it ... go with the dice link cable ... from what i have heard it is better ... good luck

the quality will never be as good as a CD, because an mp3 player has its songs is in mp3 form, so some of the top and bottom are cut off the make the files smaller, but it shouldn't be a noticeable difference
