    Re: YEllow top

yes i have the factory bose amp on bose setup everything is grounded properly, I have a US amp and a RE sub. and an AVIC d3 with two headrest monitors. The engine noise was due to the Bose amp i know. The noise just stoped i assume to better voltage maybe. When i used to own my shop i never had eletrical mystery problems like audis have haha.

    no lie they are crazy

    Re: YEllow top

How difficult is the install (due to it's centrally located location under the hood)? Any issues removing the old battery? What settings did you lose when you restarted the car after the the new battery was installed? I'm thinking of going in the same direction battery wise very shortly...

Dude easy as heck. Allen that holds the battery down in the front, 10mm for battery cables. took them off removed the vent tube, pulled the OEM bat out, put the OPTIMA D35 Used the oem bat mount and connected the cables. I lost my date and time on the dash, and i had to return some settings to my Pioneer head unit. Really it took ten min. I bought the batt for 177.81 from batteryjack.com shipped.

you may want to get a capacitor for the sub so its not drawing so bad from the alternator\battery, will help with any ppower surges or lose.

Ive worked in the audio industry for a long time, this is completely false. you need to upgrade your alternator to a 3g (130-200amp) and upgrade all your cables to the alternator. caps are the biggest waste of money. also make all your cables regarding the entire install (amp, battery, alt, grounds, speaker wire) as big as they can possibly go (8,4,2, and 0ga).
