Try this again?? Tranny Problems Some ideas Plz

Ok so A couple months ago i posted that i was having trouble getting into 1st gear ( i could only get in while car was rolling) and i would have to push it in hard. What happend was i grinded 4th gear and after that thats when it all happend. I Drove it like that for about a week saving money to go get it looked at... by the end of the week it had bascially "fixed itself" and was going into first and second like nothign ever happend.... Yesterday i raced my friend from a first gear roll ... Grinded 2nd now It happend all over again.. My friend who works at audi suggested changing the clutch and Throwout bearing?? Idk if that makes any sense thow...

When it dsoent go into first and second the Shiftlinkage feels reallky wierd like i cant move it to the left and to the rigth while in nuetral but it has fixed this problem itself TWICE already.. i would really like to get some insight on this

first and second gear shift collr is bad. these are the EXACT symptoms my car had. im in the iddle of replacing mytranny now. It has not been fun or cheap. i promise you 100% your tranny neds to be replaced or built. Mine seemed to fix itself too and finally one day it wouldnt go bck. it would seem notchy in nutral after going in first or second, anfd the problem initally started after grinding gears. now tht th tranny is out, i have confirmed that this was the issue. good luck, and I hope you have cash

man... why are northerners always so depressed? It's not like the car cheated on you or anything... I watched a serial killer special on TV and they were all from the north...

anyway... get some poon and then have a few beers. next, spend $2k (or so depending on if you want more upgrades or not) and get you a JHM rebuild kit, a bad ass new clutch, and resurface your flywheel. Clear 2 or 3 days out of your schedule and rebuild it all... then you'll have piece of mind and a sick setup. Nothing to worry about.
