OK... so I have a 2004 A4 1.8 liter quattro... Last night i had a bit of bad luck... i had to stop rather quickly and shift into reverse (i waited until i was stopped to shift) and then turned around and several minutes later I noticed a very loud squealing/whining noise coming from under the hood. when i got back to my house i noticed that my car was leaking some type of fluid quite profusely... I believe it is transmission fluid due to the location of the leak... but i don not know what could possibly be causing the whining... If anyone can help me out please let me know...
