stuck on exterior ideas

I know i posted this pic up a couple weeks back but i need some more ideas for exterior work besides a drop...i just ordered rs4/rs6 auto pedals last week so im waiting for those to come. that should give the interior a hot touch

-I was thinking about spraying the front rings white, but not sure how it would look..

i had those smoked side markers..hated them, so i took them off and sold em haha

-hmm they look good on some of our cars...but i just dont feel like opening up the headlights again

Also to Muffinman's comment, I think black wheels with a white lip would look really good on your car!

yeah people brought that up when i first posted the pics up of my car with the rs4 reps...i decided that im going to run these till the spring and im getting some stock s-lines for free and i am going to powdercoat them gunmetal. i think these rims look great on my car now though, especially when dirty haha

-there will be no black wheels with white lips on this car either, even though i do like atops car

I would definitely go to white rings, cuz frankly I've never liked the look of black rings on any color car. The CF hood idea is also spot on - I think they look GREAT on white cars. Plus, you have a blacked-out enough look to pull it off. It might also put an interesting twist to go white rings w/ a black grill and a CF hood.

If you go w/ the CF hood, I also saw a red B7 (he just posted in a thread titled "New Member and Car" or something) that had some surprisingly good-looking CF panels from E-Bay to replace the glossy black ones between the doors.

I color matched my rings a little over a month ago... The general consensus on here was pretty negative about liking them. But, they've grown on me and I'm starting to like them more and more. I've only gotten positive comments from non-ziners. But whatever, your own opinion is all that really matters... Whill you have your bumper off to paint the rings, you should also black out your headlights.

-cf pillars eh..i think it would be overkill. the only cf i would like to put on the car is the roof spoiler eventually.

-as for the wheels...like i said before, im running these till the spring. then getting stock s-lines and powdercoating them gunmetal/graphite. my titaniums are in storage right now till summer comes around

The problem is that you have a lease and thus limiting your options. If not I'd def paint the roof black and get coils and better wheels (since you want to change the exterior)

ideas besides a drop? a drop is like the best exterior mod you can do, makes the car soo much more aggressive looking. oh yeah, handles a lot better too.

^ i had them blacked out for a while....i got sick of the look so i color matched them and i like how it looks 100% better. defiitely recommend the color match.

-yes, since my cars a lease its limited, but if i end up buying out the car i'll get coils. i do like the ride and look of the stock sport suspension but the front could use alittle lowering...the back is perfect

So far I have gone with a FMIC, blacked out tails(SICK), blacked out rings, clear corners, 6000K HID fogs, 6000K HID heads, clear refl..





Next: Maby RS4 skirts, CO's, blacked out "Turbo" emblem in the back.. BTW, dont white out the front , I found that even throwing new HID bulbs up front made the car look much more mean..

Could always paint the roof black (or get vinyl wrap), tint? , paint the bottom rear valence black (not sure if thats done)

just got rs4 grille and rs4 mesh fog grilles thanks to "Frizholy"...and cf trunk lip is on the way once again, but im painting the cf lip a certain way

Sorry that the links are broken to those E-bay auctions for the CF pillars; I remember now someone saying the guy who posted 'em inadvertently used the URL's that had already been abbreviated w/ the ...'s, which is why they don't work. They definitely are on E-Bay tho, and one of the few things off it that I would put on my car w/ pride.

^yea i could debadge, but i'll see...the cf dtm style trunk lip is sitting in my room right now. i'm still deciding whether i should just throw it on or have parts of it painted.

i think de-badging is a must... well since i did it anyway haha. the design of the trunk/rear bumper is really nice and its much cleaner without the a4 and 2.0t... black rings has been done over and over (im guilty too) but its because it looks great
