How hard is it to sell a car??

Hi,
I have been putting my 2002 A4 for sale for nearly a month on craigslist and autotrader. However I barely have anyone asking for more details....sigh....
Is the economy really that bad now?

It took me about 2.5 months to sell my car...blue book value was 25K, but I only got 22k for it.

btw, it was a 2005 A4 6MT 3.0Q USP with 40K miles.

I ended up selling to someone on craigslist. I got no inquiries from autotrader, except from ebay brokers.

mine is Auto, hopefully it's easier to sell. just got 2 people asking for price through Autotrade, good luck for me man!

it took me 3 months to sell my car. it was hard to sell since it was high milage, fwd and manual

I'd say it really depends on the car. Definitely include price and miles in your ads - otherwise people may just skip right over it.

I know I completely skip over ads with no pictures, miles, price or statement of transmission.

www.motors.ebay.com list with no reserve and it'll sell in 7 days or less :)

i sell cars for alot of people, I take the pics, make the ads, deal with the idiots, answer all the questions and show the cars. If you want me to do that for you let me know. I usually charge 400 but we can work something out, let me know.
