Its cold but it aint that cold. Wear some thermals under a mechanics suit and a knitted cap and youre good to go. At least thats what I did the last couple days of workin on my car.

    Re: northeast racetec'rs

if you've got a garage that isn't heated yes, just wear long underwear under jeans and a hoodie with a beanie. i've worked on my car through several winters in a non-heated garage. if working on a completely cold engine you may want to let it run for a few mins, then cool down to optimal working temp. overall it's the beer that keeps me warm ;)

i'd be too excited about that racetec to let ANY kind of weather slow me down!

i think it all depends on what you know going in and who your teachers are. i knew close to nothing going in and had some pretty good teachers besides one. a kid was fuckin around and asked my brakes and suspension teacher how to bleed air brakes, and the teacher seriously tryed to answer it before tellin us he didnt know. lol

I had some fantasic teachers... The only problem is they have to teach from the lowest level up, so they start at retard and work up from there for 10 weeks... They never got to the point of teaching me anything, but I did have 2 yrs in the field by that point... The reason my extra quarter was a learning experience was because it was optional... So all the idiots were left behind to fail, and I really learned

eh, not that hard Tom. Took me about 4-5 hours to install with the car on jack stands. Really straight forward to do. The only pain was getting the piping to line up properly.

id agree with the others... 4-5 hours tops. if you read the instructions first and familiarize yourself with all the tools and what not it could be quicker. the only parts that will be tricky in the cold are the clamps and the bumper bolts. just wear some gloves.... u be ok
