    new wheels and/or new suspension?

Alright I'm really new to this audizine stuff but this is my deal...

I drive 01 s4 and i want to get new wheels. I want a deep dish wheel and 19s is what i really want...(19" konig afterburners w/ the iridescent lip is what I'm leaning towards)

    BUUUUUTTTTT....

I'm debating on lowering it as well and my main concern is i don't want the ride to change...i really don't want that bounce that most cars get when you lower them...

and now brings me to my new question if i can lower it with out that bounce are thing 19s too big? and any ideas on what i should do as far as shocks and springs?

19's will def change how the car rides, and suspension will be alittle stiffer. These mods you want are going to require some sacrifice. Main point being those 19's, i would just get 18's.
Getting advice is one thing but if you want to know find someone in the area with similar suspension/rims and ask for a ride and make a decision.

StartUp Racing Vogtland GT coilovers: Drop the ride height to ~25.5F and ~25.75R. This will drastically improve the handling and will not compromize the ride quality too much even with 18". IMO, 19" is too big for the B5 chassis and too harsh to use on a DD.

oh horse sh!t.... but at least you prefaced it with IMO - 19"s are fine - just be aware of the effect it may have on how harsh the ride is... I love the way my 19s look and feel, but I live in relatively flat Texas with GREAT roads, If you are a NorEaster you might consider sticking with 18s for sure....

Also, be sure you look for a lightish wheel - even in 18s you can find some VERY heavy wheels, something I will never understand - heavy wheels can have an enormous impact on how the feels and how quickly it accelerates....

Also FWIW the koenig afterburner doesn't come in the proper offset or bolt pattern so keep lookin ;)
