    i have a 04 a4, long story short im getting shitty reception now for some reason and i want to see if the antenna is messed. Do anyone know where the internal antenna is and if they have had any problems like this before thanks you:)

    You probably have a cracked antenna booster. A common problem. You can see the crack in this one on the right side of the booster:

    yeah, my booster cracked too and I have horrible reception. Get the part # off of it and call the dealership. its a few hundred dollars if you want good reception again...

    or just get XM/Serius. Mine is cracked too and i don't care, i don't listen to AM/FM at all just XM.

    I have RNS-E. But Sat radio will work with SymphonyII as well.

    I took the cover off, and my antenna does not have any cracks, any idea why my receptions sucks, should I vag for fault codes.

    I believe that they tend to crack under heat in the summer and they cost $200-300 to replace. Awesome design audi.

    Personally i think there shoulda been a recall
