Recommendations?

I have a 2.8L, Quattro. I'm in the process of doing interior work as it's winter time here. I'm going to be buying Coil Overs, 18s and that's going on this Spring. A COI and some other cosmetic engine upgrades are going to be happening, too.

Now, what recommendations do you recommend to get a little more HP? Nothing to serious, like a Super Charger or anything. But maybe coil packs? Pulley? Etc?

Your def a noob in my book, you wouldnt be dicking around trying to make power NA on a 2.8 motor if you werent... And no, I didnt get excited when posting that, actually was a bit upset... Never want to have random stuff in this forum, but it was bound to happen... Post in the regular B5 forum and search a bit, you'll learn some good stuff

Everyone hates on the 2.8 wheras its good motor. Come to Europe and drive a 1.6 8V A4...the 2.8 is a lust here....well not really.

Get an exhaust and intake, 2.8's sound sweet, they just dont go fast... Wheres your area?

Joe I told ya.. even S/C'd they're slow. Just get a magnaflow, some larger piping and an intake and just enjoy your decent gas mileage. :P

Ill trailer him here for 1500, build him a motor, and high compression NA it or low CR turbo it... Why not do a single turbo? Im already doing one for a S4 customer

And what makes you think I wouldn't do that here?? Building an N/A engine is less complicated b/c there's no B/S from routing pipes, lines, coolers, etc.

What? I get better mileage in my 1.8T than I did in my 2.8. The 2.8 liked doing 115 a lot more though. I just get there in half the time now.

Word. I got >31mpg on the 800 mile drive to WF14. Personal best on my 12V was like 26-27, whereas I average that now w/ combined driving. 12V=172hp, Modded 1.8T= ~215-220crank hp, ... 1.8T>12V
