    Hi guys ,
I have a forth coming race at the track so I am going to map my EFI ECU to 100 (RON) octane. I am pushing 22 psi daily with 98 RON. I have AEB 1.8L displacement with JE pistons and eurospec rods. Additionally ,I have raceware head studs and mains. How much of boost can I run for race. I will be on track for one hour and around 15 laps.

    Re: Safe boost levels.

You may want to do some logging for a hour steady where you flog it at 22psi like you do daily to see how the IAT's hold up. I would say to stick to 22psi for now. I can run 30psi on 93octane in the states, but daily at 20-22psi. I doubt next year my first lapping sessions out I will run over 22psi. Take things slow, it's worth taking time and logging empirical data in small setps IMO.

I hope ,I will get my power gasget before the race as you say the most worring part is the high IAT's. I will also try my anti-lag set-up at the race . It's a porsche organisation ,I wanted to beat some porsches that's why I am looking for more :)
