hey there im kinda new to az i was going to post a new member thread but my laptop got stepped on so i am currently using only have the screen and then i got lazy haha. bad week.

anyways i just bought a pair of used blacked out angel eyes and i was wondering if anyone after installing them experienced any engine trouble. my car sat outside for 4 days as i waited for my headlights, before it was running absolutely fine, then i get my headlights install them and then it begins to idle rough, shutters as i accelerate and the check engine comes one. does anyone think the lights could have any affect on this?

sorry for the noob thread but i honestly havent had a great week and now im sick so any comments would be great thanks

    Re: headlights

what kind of wiring did you have to do? you may have shorted something and fried a CP though it's unlikely. (that the headlights caused this - not that it's a CP.. I'm almost positive it is a CP)

    Re: headlights

sounds like a coincidental coilpack problem. change them out. if it's still the same. then get new spark plugs.

    Re: headlights

flashing usually means you're going to throw a rod due to improperly greased valve bearings

sorry - i'm in a wierd mood lol. it's your coil packs, just replace them and you should be good
