Stuck head rest

OK, i'm a fool and put my drivers head rest on backwards. Now it won't remove. Any ideas or tools to get the pin on the side without a button to release. What am I doing wrong?

Oh, and also the rear passenger side seat back will not latch. The red lever behind the release lever is stuck down. Ideas.
