HELP with my NEW TT

sup guys,,, after i sold my A4 avant. i got myself a TT instead
now here is the problem ... the car over heats in traffic.. but once it started going . the temp will come back normal...
so in the morning. i turn on the ac just to check if the fans are working... and sure both fans did working...so i thought it must be the thermostat.. so this morning i bought new thermostat and put it on the car..it took my like an hour so.... and it still overheats when i idle the car for like 15 minutes. coz i try to put water back to the water tank to get the bubbles out of the block!!
i was like WTF!!!!!!!!!!!
so i check the fans again. the fans DID NOT turn at all when the car idles overheat!!!.. and after i turn off the engine... they start spinning right away!!
opinions guys please help!!

damn how long did you have the avant it seemed like you were just starting on the mods?

how much did you sell it for?

make sure you talk to eugene too. he has an audi, and his always seemed to be running warm, he'll have a few good ideas. I think his is finally running right.
