    Battery light question

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
The other night while I was driving, I noticed that while under full throttle the car felt like it lost power and the battery light started flashing and the volts went from 14+ to around 12. I would let off the throttle and about 5-10 sec later everything went back to normal. I duplicated this that night about 2-3 times after that, but havent since. Is alternator getting ready to ish or something. TIA

P.S. Im starting to get a dentist drill sound coming from the drivers side....Im getting excited

Yea, I assume thats what itll be. I didnt think I'd lose power though. Mayb that was just a figment of my imagination. I cant fix things unless they are broken, and hopefully when it goes it wont leave me on the side of the road.

    Re: Battery light question

Well Mr. highPSI-S4 you were right cause the Alt poo pood on me this morning on the way to work. Got about 5 mins away from the house and the battery light came on and gauge was on 12V. So I turned off the heat/headlights and dimmed the gauges in an effort to conserve energy. Well I made it to work and now the volts are at around 9. Tried to start the car just for shits and guess what....just clicks haha. O well ill go home at lunch and get my truck and trailer.
