I ordered mine from ECS. Came promptly and without issue. No complaints.

12/23/09 - My car has been phenomenal to me. Runs strong. Don't think I'm ever going to sell it. Rather throw $7k into it for a refresh than buy a new A4 that has no dipstick.
    12/5/10 - 100k miles & counting!
    9/22/13 - 146k+ & running strong w/a new TB, water pump, etc.

Re: where to buy timing belt kit?

bought mine at www.blauparts.com last week.

TB kit for AVK-3.0L engine only $398.

I'm happy with the purchase. +1 for blauparts.

A guy who specialize on Audi/VW/BMW did my TB job for $300 ($50/hour rate)
He did a lot of 1.8T's TB job, he said that one's even a lot easier to do. prob $200-250 for 1.8T.
so total only around $800 for everything instead of $1400 in dealer.

it has all the necessary parts you need:
    - Heavy Duty Water Pump w/ Gasket (Improved Steel Impeller)
    - 1 Timing Belt
    - 3 Timing Belt Tensioners / Idlers
    - 1 Front Crank Seal
    - 2 Valve Cover Gaskets
    - 4 Camshaft Sprocket O'ring Seals with Circlips
    - 6 Liters Pentosin G12 PINK Antifreeze (4-1.5L Bottles – Appropriate Amount for Complete Cooling System Flush)
    - FREE Serpentine Belt
    - NEW Detailed 'We Care!' Step-By-Step Audi A4 V6 3.0L Timing Belt Instructions, Including Complete Front Bumper Removal Instructions!
It includes numerous pages and over 30 images of detailed step-by-step guidelines.

There's also an option availble that you can rent the Audi A4 Timing Belt Tool Kit if you plan to DIY this.

    PS:
Thermostat Assembly and Tensioner dampner (shock) only need to be replaced at 2nd TB job. The replacement of thermostat is easy and different job than TB and does not fail that frequent before 100k miles, dealer suggest only need to change those when it fail.
