The headliner in my car has completely fallen......

Well the headliner has completely fallen where the rear passangers sit.

I had to use tacks to hold it up, looks SOO bad. Reminds me of back in the day when i was like 8 and my dad had his headliner tacked in place in his 1986 ford crown victoria

Nonetheless looks like crap.

Anyone know where I can buy the EXACT same fabric so I can redo the whole headliner?

so is mine. it depends on the color interior. beige is with beige but platinum, black and grey interiors are grey headliners.

I got a quote from a guy in Orlando who has been doing Rover, Porsche and Mercedes for about 25 years here. Said 785 installed for OEM material and the sunroof and lifetime warranty.

OP, did this just happen by itself? Since yours is an 02, i'm going to assume the warranty is gone, but man, I am SHOCKed that this happened in an Audi, known for interior design and QUALITY!

The guy here in England that is gonna do mine want's $600 to retrim the headliner, pillar covers, and sunroof slider in alcantara. It's cheaper if you can get your own material.

Brand new headliner (molded) from Audi should not be much more than $225.00

I purposely did not post up the headliner screen shot because I have not conformed the part number yet to his VIN number, I always try to confirm the VIN if possible because of VIN splits and multiple color variations.

On another post, somebody asked the part number for the D pillar trim, as it is very dirty in their car, the D pillar is the trim piece between the triangle window and the back window.

I used that screen cap (because it was open and on my desktop) to show that the beige color is called "Twist" by Audi, after I posted it, I realized this was your headliner thread and edited my post to reflect that.

I am still awaiting conformation of you part number by Audi, just to make sure I do not steer you in the wrong direction.

The part number for the headliner is 8E5 867 505 AE 4BK based upon your VIN number, the cost on Genuine Audi Parts comes up as 280.31 with a full retail price of $406.25
