the only power option for you is how tight you want the side support to be.

o yeah, they are much lighter than US spec seats.

you need to do resistor mod though to there wont be a air bag light, I havent done it myself

mtm has 'em (used). Will run you about 7 grand for a set including RS4 door panels. But why would you want to put those if you're not planning on slapping on a set of 5-point seatbelt harness? IMHO, if you get those kind of seats, might as well do the whole 9 yards and put in a 5-point harness Sabelt kit.

edit: the MTM used ones include the 2 front seats, the back seats and 4 door panels. It is in their warehouse in Europe and will be specially shipped per order.

The Euro RS4 seats are very similar to Recaro Sportster CS seats. Contact a Recaro dealer, much cheaper than getting OEM RS4 Recaros.

and they dont say RS4 on them which is a huge + IMO. they also come in different color combos.

Wait until the next version of the RS4 comes out... evidently they have figured out a way to put airbags into these seats. Having them come to the US should make them somewhat less expensive

I will second this. When you get stuff from overseas, weird stuff can definitely happen. I ordered some coilovers from Japan for a former car and they arrived at Cali after a month... And then they sat in Cali for 3 months awating a Customs inspection. Man, that was some frustrating shizzle there. Big time.

Those seats are sick as F. But for a couple grand you could get some awesome aftermarket carbon seats (read - unbelievable light). I would rather go that route than spend $3500-$7000 on the RS4 stuff. jmho.

EDIT: yeah, just saw post #13. That's the route I would go right there if I truly had to have those seats...
