Does anyone know the fuse/fusible link that blows when you cross the battery wires? I know there is one but I'm having an issue locating it.

    Re: Guessing Fusible link?

You'll usually find the fusible link along the negative line in the system. If you follow it you should find it somewhere before any engine bay located fuses.

I'd search for schematic online and it'll be marked on there.

Best of luck. I did that one my 300z convertible a few years ago and the good thing is that all i had to replace was the fusible link (it was located in the engine bay fuse panel) with no ill effects in the long run.

    good luck!

    Re: Guessing Fusible link?

Battery cables.... creates a surge that should burn out a wire or fuse before the surge gets to anything major, like your ecu
