Wheels cost me £950, tyres £360, they came complete with the aluminium centre caps (the expensive parts!), were only missing the B badges, so £6 each from a parts specialist, 5mm spacers all round for £30, and extended bolts for another £30, so all in around £1400, so about $2800, but I'm selling my BBS CH to get back most of that money anyway. Not bad for rims that cost £4500/$9000 from Bentley, without tires!
The front arches were already slightly rolled, rears as standard, no rubbing at all so far. The coilovers might be wound down a bit more soon enough, if I can free them up that is, but I'm gonna run em for a bit to see how things go.
As for airride, the car would definatey look awesome dropped right on its arse I agree, the thought's there, just gotta weigh up the costs, but it's certainly a possibilty over the winter!
