EVOMS Intake, Whoes gottem?

It was going to get installed, but it was missing pieces.
So I thought this would be a good time to get alot more info.

its way eaisier to buy a new TIP and throw a cone filter on the MAF housing..... i have heard mixed results about the evoms

Don't bother with it. Just get a K&N panel filter and stick with the OEM airbox. It's one of the many things Audi got right on this car.

If you are dead set on getting an intake, the only one I would recommend is the Carbonio V2.

I have it and it sounds cool and that is about it. Did you get the new style, just a volute to attach the cone filter to the MAF, or the old style with the "U" bend?

A cone filter on the MAF is a good option as long as you have a good heatshield. However as mentioned above the oem airbox with a K&N is pretty much as good as it gets for a k03.

You will hear the DV better, deeper sound from the outside. No power gain really, but ++MPG. I put a new AEM Dryflow on so I dont have to mess with oil. they clame it filters and flows better. Would I get it again? maybe not, but I like it.

I dont have numbers, I just noticed over time my trip MPGs went up (not due to driving style change) the sound is just more noticable not loud.
