So I just got an error on my N276 ( Fuel Pump )

Me and the guys of Dubbers inc. ( Aka VolksAudi ( Thank you VW of America )) where driving up to Bradenton for Fixx Fest, and from no where while overtaking a car the A4 went in to limp mode, started misfiring and wont build up boost. I managed to get it to a dealer and they replace the fuel pressure sensor, but It did not fix anything. Apparently Its my cam and follower that took a dump. Ill keep you guys updated.

Tomorrow the car is getting towed to Audi of Naples.

Ps. The car just came out of the dealer yesterday for collapsed motor mounts.

I don't hide them, when I stopped by the dealer at Naples, I had the car show and track ready, It caused such a big impression on the service department and on the other customers they took care of me just like home. Apparently no one mods their cars there.

However here at home I do know people, and do some tinkering with my mods to make it seen as stock as possible. Since there is a recall on the cam and the follower this should be an easy one.

If this goes smoothly for you, I would be very, very surprised. I don't care if it's bad for the engine or not, if you have coolist Mis Water/Meth Injection they're going to say your mods broke the cam follower and void the warranty. Unless they are really cool. Then you'll be all set....but I don't think you're going to come out of this w/out paying anything. Sorry dude. Good luck.

Im assuming it is either or, since when I stopped by the dealer they replaced the pressure sensor, and everything else seems fine. We had already replaced the follower cap once, but who knows. Maybe the pump is seized.

Im towing the car back tonight, and I will know for sure tomorrow.

ok well since youre assuming then heres some help. if you get your car back and they replaced the same sensor again, then bring your car back and tell them to stop being stupid. it took several trips to the dealer before i asked for AoA to help. AoA pointed to a Low Pressure Fuel Pump (in the actual tank) that was faulty. good luck

Well, the fuel pump took a s**t. The cam follower had a hole done by the rod that drives it and the rod wore off on the cam. Cam is bad as well.

Dealer is taking care of it, just have to return the cars ECU to Audi binary, since revo wont let them check for codes.

Is this the first you're experiencing of the dreaded cam problem? or did you get it replaced and it happened again?

Just curious because I had mine replaced and am hoping the updated parts won't take a sht too.

Well, I still have a warranty on my car, however I'm taking it to my local shop and doing it there. It has been too much of a hassle to deal with this dealer ( After they told me to bring it in with every thing on ). As soon as we get the cam Ill start posting pics of the resurrection process.

Still have the warranty, but they dont want to do the job, because they are afraid of messing with something aftermarket and messing it up.

Now about whats under the hood, Its only usable from third gear and up, on strictly dry conditions. I mean I can do a second gear roll, but it will light them up till third.
