Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
i Have A 2000 B5 S4 Automatic Sometimes While Driving The Abs Light Comes On & The Brake Lights Start To Flash. The Brake Lights Will Continue To Flash While The Abs Light Is On. I Don't Feel Any Difference In The Pedal. Once Every Blue Moon The Light Will Just Turn Off & Then On Again. But Everytime I Get Out The Car & In Again The Lights Are Off. Anyone Had This Same Problem & What Had To Be Done. Thanks.

It means your ABS module has gone bad. You'll need it repaired or replaced.
We sell replacement modules, or you can contact a company like Module Masters to have yours repaired.

Yep. Read about the problem here: http://www.audiworld.com/tech/elec116.shtml

For anybody who is interested, I'm an electrical engineer and do this repair for $110. Email me: [email protected]

It's a delicate and tricky repair, but I like to do this as a service to the Audi community because I think that it is absolutely ridiculous that dealers are charging people $1500 for the repair and rebuilders are charging upwards of $300-400. It's Bosch's problem for producing a faulty module, and there should be a recall, but there's not, so I'm more than willing to help out those who have the ABS/brake light+ beeping

Yup yup----VERY common issue, see it frequently on B5/C5 cars.

We only use the OEM ABS repair kits FYI.
