    Changing master key battery

    Anyone got a hint?

    I get the key into two pieces, but from there I'm stuck

    After you have it in two pieces, the part that has the buttons in it holds the battery. If you hold that half with the buttons down the you'll be looking at the piece that covers the battery. Just pry that off. The battery is a CR2032 lithium battery.
    After you change the battery though, you'll probably have to reprogram the remote cause it won't open the doors.
    1. Unlock your drivers door with the actual key
    2. Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "on" position. Don't start the car.
    3. Turn the key back to "off" and pull the key out.
    4. Push the lock or unlock button.

    That should do it. The reprogramming instructions are also in the owners manual.
