No button = no ESP. But the car will still use the ABS to slow down the fastest moving wheel.

or just pop the harness off the abs unit under the hood. Just be ready for the flashing "brake" light on the cluster and beeping when you first turn on the key.

Is there any way to fit the traction control management to an earlier car?

For drag racing so the abs doesn't apply the brakes while your trying to make the most power. This is when driveline parts brake.

Why would you want to do that?

ESP = ECU closing the dbw throttle body to decrease power.

    Mike,

I thought it was via the brakes, aka the ABS brakes put pressure on the wheel traveling the fastest. This could be good for autox or in wet situations.

Just curious if it was possible.

You should already have that if your car is AWD. It's called electronic differential lock (EDL).
