    K04 Internals in a K03 Possible?

It's my understanding that the K03 and K04 Turbos have identical housing with different impeller/propeller configurations. Is it possible to get a full rebuild kit for a K04 and install the components in a stock K03 housing to build your own K04? has anyone heard of this being done? Thanks

Yes, it can be done. But you would also need to recut the cover inlet for the slightly larger wheel. It is not a direct swap of just internals.

yeha, the housing needs to be machined out to fit the 5mm larger wheel.

Yes you do have to machine the internal to fit the bigger wheel...

Here are the differences in the wheels.. I got mine done about 3 months ago... Also if you port your exhaust manifold that helps alot....
